 Dr Frank J Hayden was the founder of the local chapter of the Special Olympics which this year were held in LA and ended last weekend.
This new school, along with the recreation centre and library, opened two years ago.

The old logo had been in use since 1965. A couple of years ago, a new logo was unveiled and is gradually appearing on all the stores.
The department store is still generally known by its nickname The Bay
